There are many young professionals who intend to immigrate to Canada or already work there through a temporary work visa on completing the studies. The persons possessing post-secondary credentials, and work experience, get an advantage to get permanent residence. The reason is their age and the ability for settling in any Canadian region. Many people in the age bracket of 20 -30 years think that they will be successful in finding more opportunities in large centers. Sometimes they will fail because of improper qualifications. There are many vacancies in small areas where locals cannot fill them up. Besides, there is the availability of affordable housing to suit the requirements of youths who do not have any dependents. Other Immigration Ways

The Provincial Nominee Programs present a direct way for settling in a specific province when the work involves an in-demand job. Furthermore, there are other ways of immigration. The Express Entry system is popular and manages several federal programs which permit skilled as well as experienced professionals to get a visa.

Express Entry

The system of Express Entry commenced in 2015 to focus on three federal programs. It fast-tracks them in processing and the time involved is only six months. The programs are:
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program, and finally
  • Canadian Experience Class
For applying in them the candidates must first create an online profile in the Express Entry portal, informing the federal programs they select. The profiles get a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System which gives points after meeting specific criteria. Profiles enter the Express Entry pool where the top scoring candidates are selected in draws happening every two weeks. Furthermore, after some time they get the Invitations to apply seeking permanent residence in the country.

Measuring the CRS Criteria:

  • Age
  • Language proficiency in English or French,
  • Education Level Inside/outside Canada,
  • Work Experience Inside/outside Canada,
  • Arranged employment,
  • Obtaining the Provincial Nomination,
  • Siblings who live in the country as citizens or permanent, residents, and finally
  • The profile  of spouse in case of  marriage
