ANMAC:

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council is an independent authority engaged in accrediting nursing and midwifery education under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme of Australia. Furthermore, Its Skilled Migration Service is responsible to carry out an assessment of the skills of nurses/midwives intending to migrate to Australia by using the program for General Skilled Migration.

Nursing Skills Assessment for Australia Migration:

The first step involves getting all the important documentary evidence for the Assessment Standards ready, as per the demands of ANMAC. The Standards are:

1 Identity Proof

5 Fitness to practice

Also, after undergoing skill assessment, they can apply for nursing registration directly to the NMBA/AHPRA and also submit the Expression of Interest. Overseas Nursing graduates must also complete the bridging course in Australia to obtain the registration from AHPRA. They also need to complete the course from an organization having approval to which they submit a referral letter from AHPRA to gain the admission.
