Requirements for B.C. Entrepreneur Category

Business candidates in this B.C immigration category should meet the following minimum criteria:

• Must show the personal net worth of minimum $800,000;
• At least make $400,000 personal investment to buy or establish and expand a qualified business in the B.C. province;
• Create at least three jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada;
• Participate in the business or day-to-day direction and management;
• Prior to nomination requires to sign a performance agreement with B.C. Province;
• Applicants in the category of Entrepreneur can sponsor a crucial staff member for Canadian permanent residence.

Requirements for Regional Entrepreneur Category

• Business candidates in this category must meet the following criteria:
• Must Show personal net worth of minimum $400,000;
• Must make minimum $200,000 personal investment to purchase or establish and expand an eligible business in the province of B.C. outside the Vancouver metropolitan area and Abbotsford metropolitan area;
• Create at least one new job for Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada;
• Participate in the business or day-to-day management and direction;
• Prior to nomination must sign a performance agreement with B.C. Province.

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program general draw took place on June 13, 2018.

Applicants of Express Entry under the international graduate and skilled worker streams need to score at least of 96 points to get an invitation.
